Over these years, SEIHO has built up and established a strong reputation as a major marine parts stockist with a comprehensive range of products encompassing many major Japanese auxiliary engine and equipment brands. SEIHO has been holding the Yanmar authorized dealership in Singapore since many years.
Recent Developments
In 1995, SEIHO set up a subsidiary, Global Pyramid Sendiran Berhad, located in Kuala Lumpur the capital of Malaysia, to specifically serve the shipping and growing oil and gas industry in the country. To date Global Pyramid Snd Bhd has received recognition from Petronas, the Malaysian national oil company, as an Approved Vendor in parts supply to their subsidiaries, like MISC Berhad, also their Malaysian national shipping line.
In 2005, SEIHO reached another milestone in our growth when we entered into a JV with our Singapore principal and Indonesian partners to establish a parts trading and engineering service company called Golden Alliance Marine (Shanghai) Pte Ltd, in Pudong, Shanghai. This JV company is slowly establishing itself in the China domestic market as a specialist marine parts supplier and with competent Yanmar servicing and commissioning engineers for new-building ships as well as ships in docking or undergoing repair in the mainland Chinese yards and anchorages.
Going forward, SEIHO will continue to build on the combined strengths of all its associate, subsidiary and JV companies within the Group to tap their synergies and their comparative advantages to better serve all our valued customers wherever their fleet is plying in the world shipping routes.
